Registrations are still open for the 2025 Music In Africa Conference for Collaborations, Exchange and Showcases, taking place in Tshwane from 30 October to 1 November.
The event will feature discussions, exhibitions, and networking sessions at the University of Pretoria, followed by the Showcase Festival at Propaganda Pretoria and 012 Central.
African delegates can attend the conference free of charge with prior registration, while tickets for the evening showcases must be purchased separately.
The festival will feature top African talent including Focalistic, Zoë Modiga, Claudio Rabe, and Mpho Sebina.

OpenAI has moved into the web browser space with the launch of ChatGPT Atlas, a new platform that combines browsing and conversational AI. The announcement was made on Tuesday, 21 October.
Atlas allows users to interact with websites through ChatGPT, completing tasks such as researching, comparing products, or planning trips.
The browser’s Agent Mode feature enables the AI to act on user instructions while keeping full control in their hands.
The launch signals OpenAI’s push to expand beyond chat and into everyday internet use. Atlas is available for macOS, with Windows, iOS, and Android versions to follow.
