The City of Johannesburg will host The Jozi aMuse Festival of Museums from the 20th of May, offering an immersive cultural experience, including a "Routes of Resistance" Soweto tour, gallery visits and evening events.

The curated, citywide experience brings together Johannesburg’s leading museums, galleries and cultural spaces into one connected cultural moment through a scenic City Sightseeing Bus journey over 4 days.

The festival will include site visits and tours to Constitution Hill, Wits Art Museum, and Museum Africa among others.

Mexico City is hosting the "Álbum Épico" exhibition where 15,000 pieces of football memorabilia are on free public display.

The items form part of Gabriel Bustamante's
collection, who has spent over 40 years gathering pieces related to professional football.

The exhibition ‌will run through August 2026, welcoming city residents and international visitors throughout the World Cup season.

The items include notable shirts belonging to football legends Maradona, David Beckham, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, as well as a large collection of Mexican national team jerseys.

The exhibitions is among more than ​20 cultural spaces that have been prepared as part of the special World Cup programming across Mexico City, which expects more than five million tourists.
