Mashatile arrived in France on Monday as part of a visit that is aimed at “reinforcing South Africa’s historic and warm bilateral relations with France by expanding on existing cooperation projects.

The Deputy President has emphasised that South Africa is open for business and outlined the country's proactive measures to facilitate ease of doing business.

As South Africa’s 14th biggest investor, France has contributed more than R70 billion in South African projects.
