Nathan Michell to cycle 3,500 km for underprivileged learners

Nathan Michell will cycle 3,500 km from Hope Valley Farm School in KwaZulu-Natal to the Cape of Good Hope and back to raise funds for underprivileged learners through his Cycle for Hope fundraiser.
He is raising funds and awareness for the school, which provides children from farmworker families and informal settlements with access to education.
Nathan balances his training with part-time online studies and coaching, carrying all his gear during the journey from 6 to 22 July.
Donations go directly to Hope Valley Farm School, helping learners access opportunities that can change their futures.

Western Cape gets R15m boost for 2027 Cricket World Cup

Western Cape Cultural Affairs and Sport MEC Ricardo Mackenzie has welcomed a R15 million allocation to prepare for next year’s men’s 50-over World Cup.
