The 2026 Rand Show returns to the Johannesburg Expo Centre in NASREC from 2 to 6 April.
The multi-day exhibition will host brands, products and experiences for visitors, and this year it marks 131 years of connecting people.
Exhibitors will showcase innovations while attendees explore the event, connecting with entertainment, shopping and industry highlights across the venue.

13 Cape Town students to compete in FIRST Tech Challenge World Championships

13 high school students from Cape Town are headed to Houston at the end of April to compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge World Championships.
This marks the second consecutive year they have qualified, after finishing third in the Robot Games and winning the Inspire Award at the South African Nationals in Cape Town.
The team builds and programs their own robots and also trains 48 coaches to start new robotics teams.
They will showcase South Africa on the global stage while promoting greater access to engineering and technology skills.

Engen Expands Menstrual Care Campaign to Reach 800 Learners in South Africa

Engen has expanded its national Menstrual Care Campaign, reaching 800 learners across South Africa with reusable sanitary pad packs and menstrual health education in partnership with Palesa Pads.
The company visited 8-schools in South Durban, Plettenberg Bay, Gqeberha, Kroonstad and Limpopo, distributing 100 care packs per school containing reusable pads, cleaning kits and educational materials.
The pads, which can last up to 5-years, help learners manage their periods while reducing long-term costs.
Engen CSI Manager Olwethu Mdabula says their goal is to address period poverty, promote school participation, and empower young women with knowledge about menstrual health and self-care.
