Johannesburg Development Agency has began working on Phase 2 of the Rosebank Public Transport Facility upgrade. The project aims to modernise Rosebank to meet commuter demand. The JDA's CEO Themba Mathibe, says the upgrade will improve the daily experience of commuters and support inclusive economic activity through better facilities for informal traders.

UK Young Gamers Win Awards

Two teenagers from the UK have scooped prizes at a national competition for young video game designers. Thiago aged 13, and 14-year-old Tanisi, were crowned winners in the BAFTA Young Game Designer Competition. They were selected from 52 finalists aged between 10 and 18, who each created a game or a game concept. Their work will be showcased at the Power Up video game exhibition in London, Manchester, and Bradford, as well as at a BAFTA showcase event. Thiago created a game called Sir Floofington, where the player controls a knight who wields a broom whilst hunting for the Golden Floof.
