South African born hero Darryn Frost, who helped stop the 2019 London Bridge terrorist attack, is now giving former prisoners a second chance through a rehabilitation initiative in the United Kingdom.
Frost co founded Own Merit, which provides supported housing, structure and mentorship to help prison leavers rebuild their lives. The programme has already helped 26 men with no incidents of violence.
Frost says the initiative was inspired by the support he received as a young boy and his belief that, with the right opportunities, people can change.

Charlie's Charity Christmas Market, hosted by Tails and Whiskers, supported Edenvale Ferals, Boxer Rescue, Helen White Working in the Community and Pet Au Pair.
Organisers say the event attracted a strong community turnout, helping raise much needed funds for local animal welfare initiatives.
