Sandtonview School Learners Benefit from E-Learning Initiative

116 Grade 11 learners at Sandtonview Combined School have received e-learning devices as part of a sponsorship initiative by ElectroMechanica and Odin Education.
Each pupil was provided with a tablet loaded with educational resources and data, as well as access to a rewards programme.
The school will have a full-time liaison to help teachers use the technology well.
The initiative aims to prepare learners for the digital age and bridge the educational gap in disadvantaged communities.

The United Kingdom's music industry has seen a significant boost, with music tourism contributing a record 13.8 billion-dollars to the economy last year.
According to UK Music 23.5 million music tourists attended concerts and festivals drawn by performances from top acts like Taylor Swift, Charli XCX, and Bruce Springsteen.
The majority of these tourists were UK-based but international fans also flocked to the UK for major events.
With Oasis set to reunite on tour the industry expects continued success.
