The team cooked meals for children and distributed stationery items and lunch boxes at the centre.
Good Hope Ikhayalethu, founded by Duduzile Mnguni, provides meals to residents who struggle to afford food, including patients collecting medication from the nearby East Bank Clinic.
Mnguni says the donation added food and learning supplies to the centre’s limited resources.

Ekurhuleni tennis players to represent SA in the UK

Omphile Sekhute, Stephen Marè, Nkazimulo Sigasa, and Katherine Henderson have been selected for the South Africa Schools tennis team and will tour the United Kingdom later this year.
The players earned their spots through strong performances at the interprovincial tournaments in Pretoria and Bloemfontein, where they stood out among the country’s most promising young players.
During the UK tour, the team will visit Lawn Tennis Association clubs and watch top players compete at Wimbledon.
