A Better Edenvale volunteer has helped reunite a young cyclist with his lost bicycle in Soweto.Ruben Shiviti found the bike in the middle of the road while travelling home and noticed that a name was written on it. With help from cycling groups, the bicycle was traced back to its owner, Martin Hoyi, who had been searching for it after it fell from a vehicle.
The bike had been donated to aspiring cyclist Bongani Mapanga, who dreams of representing South Africa and becoming a national champion.

Greta Collier has always had a heart for helping others. But it was a life-changing health setback that led her to discover a new purpose: using knitting and crocheting to make a difference in the lives of people in need. After surviving a cerebellar stroke, Greta became the driving force behind KnitWits 4 the Needy Hurlingham, a growing community of knitters and crocheters who meet every Saturday at Rosebank Union Church to create blankets, clothing and other warm items for people in need.Her journey has shown how a difficult experience can lead to a new sense of purpose and a way to give back to others.

South African schoolboy Bruwer has been named one of five global finalists in World Athletics' Ultimate Athletics Championship Fan Challenge. His video, "The Prestige Cup," won the Emotion & Legacy category, beating hundreds of entries from around the world. The fast-paced video captures the excitement, nerves, celebrations and emotion of athletics, giving viewers the feeling of being right alongside the athletes. Bruwer is now in the running for the overall Ultimate Fan title.
