NH Johannesburg Sandton has launched a wine collection where a percentage of proceeds supports Saving the Wild’s conservation work.
The three wines feature the rhino, elephant and pangolin, with proceeds helping the organisation advocate for specialised wildlife courts and stronger laws protecting endangered species.
The collection is a partnership between Minor Hotels, Saving the Wild and Hoopenburg Wine Estate.

South African Teen Wins World Powerlifting Bronze

Nineteen year old South African athlete Chanté Mulder has won bronze at the World Powerlifting Championships in Sun City.
She finished third overall in the 69 kilogram junior category after lifting 140 kilograms in the squat, 87.5 kilograms in the bench press and 130 kilograms in the deadlift.
Mulder is also an accomplished track and field athlete, having won Eastern Province U23 titles in shot put and javelin.

The event this Saturday will include health screenings, aerobics, cultural dances and a traditional food showcase at the Southern Suburbs Recreation Centre.
