Frustrated by deteriorating infrastructure, Sunninghill residents have signed a petition demanding urgent action. Organised by the Sunninghill Community Ratepayers Association, the petition highlights issues such as potholes, sewage leaks, and non-functional streetlights, which have plagued the suburb for months. Chairperson Linda Gildenhuys says residents feel ignored despite paying their rates and taxes. With overwhelming support for the petition, the community is calling on authorities to restore basic services and address the growing neglect.

NOVAR an education app offering free learning content for high-school students has gained traction after it went viral and led to crowdfunding support of over 160,000 rand. Two Limpopo developers, Marvel Shibambu and Malunghelo Mathonsi created the education app. Liberty Group’s #DriveHope initiative has awarded them 1 million rand to expand NOVAR. This funding will help them reach more students, bringing accessible education to communities across South Africa. The SpaceX Dragon will return to Earth tommorow with important scientific experiments from the International Space Station.The spacecraft will contain tons of scientific samples from experiments done on the ISS. Nearly 6,700 pounds of science experiments, supplies, equipment and food will return to Earth from the ISS. Samples also were retrieved from the exterior of the station to see how they responded to ultraviolet radiation, atomic oxygen, charged particles, thermal recycling and other factors.
