This comes after the Tshwane MMC for Finance Eugene Modise outlined plans to position the underutilised facility as a central hub for domestic freight.Modise confirmed that the airport holds a distinct advantage over regional counterparts, especially in handling high-value commodities such as platinum and manga nese. These minerals are typically transported by road from areas such as Rustenburg and Limpopo, regions that generate volumes of export cargo.

Two young men from Gumbani village in Limpopo, have developed a free educational app aimed at supporting learners and teachers, particularly in remote areas.Malungelo Mathonsi and Khongelani Shibambu have created the NOVAR app, which offers lessons in subjects such as Mathematics and Science.The app is freely accessible and is designed to improve access to quality education regardless of the learner’s background or financial disposition.Mathonsi and Shivambu received 1 million rand in support of the e-learning app from Liberty.

SpaceX Dragon Returns ISS Samples

The SpaceX Dragon will return to Earth tommorow with important scientific experiments from the International Space Station.The spacecraft will contain tons of scientific samples from experiments done on the ISS. Nearly 6,700 pounds of science experiments, supplies, equipment and food will return to Earth from the ISS. Samples also were retrieved from the exterior of the station to see how they responded to ultraviolet radiation, atomic oxygen, charged particles, thermal recycling and other factors.
