Repairs on Rand Water Pipeline complete

Johannesburg Water has confirmed that emergency repairs on the Rand Water F12/F39 bulk pipeline have been successfully completed, following Tuesday’s widespread water outages across several parts of Johannesburg.

The repairs saw residents experiencing unplanned outages in Soweto, Randburg, Roodepoort and parts of Southern Johannesburg.

The water utility says residents in affected areas may continue to experience water supply disruptions as the system gradually recovers.
