Joburg duo raises R34,000 for children

Johannesburg residents Susan and Patsy have raised more than R34,000 for children with cancer by completing the Hyrox Pro Doubles Women's Challenge.
The pair raised the money in just 40 days for Rainbows and Smiles, which supports children with cancer and life-threatening illnesses and their families.
They took on the demanding fitness competition after only one month of training.
The funds will help the organisation continue providing emotional, social and financial support to affected families.

A group of Redhill learners will represent South Africa at the upcoming International Junior Maths Olympiad in Mongolia after they secured places on the national team.
The pupils earned selection through a rigorous process run by the South African Junior Olympiads body, completing multiple rounds of trials, assignments and intensive training.
They will now compete against some of the world's top young mathematics students on the international stage.
