The Temba Bavuma Foundation has marked its 10th anniversary with the launch of the Future Founders Challenge at St David’s Marist Inanda Alexandra Campus.
The initiative introduces learners to entrepreneurship and financial literacy while encouraging them to develop business ideas.
Speaking at the launch, Temba Bavuma reflected on the foundation’s impact over the past decade, highlighting success stories in education, sport and community development.
He said the organisation aims to create opportunities for young people to reach their full potential.
The event also marked a new partnership with the school to expand access to quality education and opportunities for learners from disadvantaged communities.

Food Lover’s Market has helped raise more than 16 million meals for FoodForward SA through its annual Hunger Month campaign, which had an initial target of 10 million meals.
The initiative, now in its 10th year, brought together shoppers, suppliers and partners to support communities facing food insecurity across South Africa.
The campaign exceeded its target and will help provide food assistance to nearly one million vulnerable people.
FoodForward SA says the support will strengthen its network that recovers surplus food and distributes it to communities in need across the country.

Johannesburg fitness partners Susan and Patsy have raised more than 34,000 rand for the organisation Rainbows and Smiles after completing the Hyrox Pro Doubles Women’s Challenge. The pair took on the intense event, which combines running and strength stations, after just a month of training.
Over 40 days, they used the challenge to raise funds for children diagnosed with cancer and life-threatening illnesses, as well as support for their families.
The organisation says the donation will help continue emotional, social and financial assistance programmes for affected households across several South African cities.
