Sandtonview School Gains Digital Tools to Boost Matric Success
Story 1
Sandtonview Combined School’s Grade 11 learners have received e-learning devices through a sponsorship by ElectroMechanica and Odin Education.

A full-time liaison will help teachers use the technology effectively in the classroom.
Principal Horatio Loff said the support is a game-changer for learners from a disadvantaged community.
ElectroMechanica’s Andrew Nobbs said preparing youth for the digital age starts with education.
Odin Education’s Ajit Gopalakrishnan highlighted how their platform tracks the impact of such initiatives.

Thanks to generous donations and initiatives like Tracey Lange Cares, 11 players and one coach are set to arrive home on Wednesday.
KFM presenter Tracey Lange says the support from South Africans both here and abroad has been incredible and deeply moving.
Donations are still ongoing to help bring the rest of the group home.

Clean Water Brings New Hope to SA Schools
Story 3
South African innovator Murendeni Mafumo is helping restore clean water access to schools through his social enterprise, Kusini Water.
Using locally made filtration systems, Kusini has reached over 60 schools and 260 sites across the country.
Mafumo, who grew up facing water shortages himself, says the goal is simple — keep kids healthy, learning and in school.
Since the 2023 cholera outbreak in Hammanskraal, Kusini has installed systems in 19 schools, with lasting impact on attendance, hygiene and nutrition.
With ongoing support, even more communities could gain access to safe, sustainable water.
