Vincent Tshabalala Education Trust honours top Alexandra high schools

The Vincent Tshabalala Education Trust has recognised three Alexandra high schools for their strong 2025 matric results. Minerva Secondary topped the list with a historic 97% pass rate, earning a R200,000 prize. Kwabhekilanga Secondary achieved 94% and R150,000, while Realogile Secondary earned R100,000 for an 84.4% pass rate.
Deputy President Paul Mashatile congratulated learners and schools, noting that four of Alexandra’s five high schools scored above 80%, with two over 90%. Minerva principal Nontsikelelo Tsatsi credited the teachers’ dedication, saying the awards reflect the hard work and commitment of educators in Alexandra.
