MaXhosa Africa’s inaugural Lindelwa Foundation Auction Dinner took place on 18 August 2025 in Johannesburg, raising more than R1 million.
The foundation, named after founder Laduma Ngxokolo’s mother, Lindelwa Ngxokolo, serves as the brand’s official social impact arm.
Guests attended the rooftop event in cultural black-tie attire, with actress and presenter Minnie Dlamini hosting the evening.
Laduma Ngxokolo delivered the keynote address, reflecting on his mother’s entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to education.
Auction highlights included a stay at Sun City’s Palace Hotel, MaXhosa jewellery, and gold teardrop earrings worn by actress Nomzamo Mbatha.

South African swimmer Callan Lotter is celebrating a breakthrough performance at the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore this month.
The 19-year-old Pretoria University student finished 16th in all three of her events, showing big improvement on last year’s results.
