Door of Hope Children’s Mission will host a golf day on 21 May at Glenvista Country Club in Johannesburg South to raise funds for vulnerable children in its care.
The organisation currently cares for 66 children and says proceeds will support housing, medical care and daily needs.
Community members and businesses can enter teams, sponsor holes or donate prizes to support the fundraiser.
Funds raised will go directly towards ongoing care for abandoned and vulnerable children at the mission.

The Bambisanani Partnership has delivered more than 80 boxes of donated goods from the United Kingdom to rural communities in KwaZulu-Natal.
The shipment included sports kit, clothing, books and sanitary products, transported by UK-based supporters and partner organisations.
Volunteers in the UK and South Africa sorted and distributed the items to schools and community groups across the region.
The programme supports local initiatives in sport, education and youth development in rural KZN.

The Dakar 2026 Training Academy will train more than 400 young people from African National Olympic Committees in sports event management.
The programme is supported by Olympic Solidarity and will cover travel and accommodation for selected participants.
Candidates will complete a training course in Dakar before working with the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games organising teams.
