The Parliamentary Monitoring Group will take over ParliMeter, an online tool that allows the public to track the work of Memebers of Parliament and Ministers in Parliament.
It records attendance, parliamentary questions, bills, committee meetings and responses from Ministers.
This is to make it easier for the public to see and track whether MPs and ministers are carrying out their parliamentary duties.
PMG says it will continue developing the tool to give the public easier access to information about Parliament.

Four Cape Town libraries have won Western Cape Cultural Affairs Awards for programmes supporting literacy, digital skills, multilingual reading and climate responses.
The City’s Library and Information Services won for its 1,000 Stories before School programme, which has grown to more than 20,000 participants.
Brackenfell and Athlone libraries were recognised for digital literacy and multilingual reading, while Sir Lowry’s Pass Library won for its climate-focused Cool Space project.
The awards recognise the work of public libraries in supporting learning and communities across the Western Cape.

Kenya has won the bid to host the 2029 World Athletics Championships, marking the first time the global track and field event will be held in the African continent.
The East African nation is the second-most successful nation in the history of the World Championships with 72 gold medals, placing it behind the United States.
The AUC leadership highlighted that hosting the global showpiece underscores Africa’s growing capacity to organise major international sporting events while fostering continental unity and development.
