Today is the second day of the DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival taking place at the iconic Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.

Meanwhile the Gautrain management agency has announced that it be will be extending its services this weekend, offering longer operating hours and a complimentary bus shuttle between Midrand Station and the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.
The shuttle will run throughout the day and into the night, with the last departure at 10:00 pm tonight.

Market research study conducted on introducing Electric Minibus Taxis

Inkamva Consulting firm and FixEv are conducting a real-time market research study on introducing Electric Minibus Taxis into the South African taxi industry.
The study involves testing the feasibility of electric vehicles in various taxi ranks; in Tembisa, Soweto and Soshanguve in Tshwane.
Deputy Director Andries Ntjane says the National Department of Transport's role is to ensure the electric taxis meet government standards, focusing on reducing carbon emissions.
At the same time, Hammanskraal Taxi Association's David Letebele Tlailane says electric minibus taxis will solve diesel injector problems and are quieter, making them appealing to drivers and passengers.

Cape Town has officially opened its 2025/26 cruise season, with the docking of the largest private residential yacht at the Cape Town Cruise Terminal.
The event marks the beginning of summer for the city's tourism industry and international recognition for the terminal, which was recently ranked 12th among the world’s most scenic cruise ports in a recent eye-tracking study.
More than 70-cruise ships are set to sail into the Cape Town Cruise Terminal over the next two months.
