Sandton CPF launches public awareness campaign

The Sandton Community Police Forum, in partnership with local security companies and the SAPS has launched a public awareness campaign to combat growing incidents of crime in the area.
The initiative, which kicked off on Saturday at Bryanston Shopping Centre and Hobart Grove Centre, aims to educate residents and business owners on the importance of vigilance and information-sharing in fighting crime.
Sandton CPF Public Relations Officer, Roshan Byjnal says the campaign focuses on addressing specific crime trends, including theft out of motor vehicles and cellphone snatching.
Byjnal emphasizes that fighting crime requires engagement and information-sharing, not just policing.

The winners were acknowledged across various categories, including Excellence in Primary School Teaching, Secondary School Leadership, Inclusive Education and Teaching in Foundation Phase.
The teachers received a hero's welcome when they arrived at the Polokwane International Airport earlier this week.
