Henson, the American puppeteer behind characters like Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and the worlds of Fraggle Rock and The Dark Crystal, played a major role in shaping modern screen puppetry.
More than 400 items will go on sale on 25 November in Los Angeles and online, including a pair of shoes worn by Miss Piggy in a Muppets film.
