Air France to Launch Daily Cape Town–Paris Flights This Summer

Air France has announced that it will operate daily flights between Cape Town and Paris during the upcoming 2025/26 summer season.
The service will run from 15 December 2025 to 12 January 2026, offering increased travel options for South African passengers.
Flights will depart Cape Town each morning and return from Paris in the evening, providing seamless access to Europe and onward international connections.
Air France says, this development reflects a continued commitment to strengthening travel links between South Africa and France.

Joburg EMS Urges Caution Amid Freezing Weather Alert

The City of Johannesburg Emergency Management Services is calling for heightened vigilance and caution as a cold wave sweeps across the country.
The South African Weather Service, has issued an alert for freezing temperatures in Johannesburg and parts of Gauteng.
The SAWS noted that a cold front moved over the south-western parts of the country on Monday, bringing cold, wet, and windy conditions.
The icy conditions are expected to move into the central and eastern parts of the country and will continue through to Friday morning on the 23rd of May.
