Springboks Inspire Young Players at Rugby Clinic
Story 1
A group of Springboks took time out of their busy schedule to host a rugby training clinic at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium ahead of their match against the Barbarians yesterday. Learners from 13 primary schools across the metro participated in the session, where they were introduced to modern training techniques, including ball handling, tackling and scrummaging. The initiative provided a rare opportunity for young players to learn directly from professional athletes and gain first-hand experience of the sport at the highest level. Springboks players Phepsi Buthelezi and Vincent Tshi tuka said they were proud to be involved in inspiring the next generation of rugby stars.
