The Johannesburg Development Agency has commenced preparatory work for Phase 2 of the Rosebank Public Transport Facility upgrade.

The project aims to modernise the bustling facility in order to meet the commuter demand in the rapidly expanding Rosebank precinct.

The JDA's CEO Themba Mathibe, says the upgrade will improve the daily experience of commuters and support inclusive economic activity through better facilities for informal traders.

Mathibe says the JDA remains committed to working with all stakeholders in delivering a resilient and future-ready transport system.

Local NGO Heartlines has officially launched its groundbreaking "Father's Matter" campaign—an initiative aimed at offering support, resources, and encouragement to fathers across South Africa.

Heartlines says it hopes to see 5 million men and society at large, involved in the biggest campaign of its kind in Africa, which aims to encourage fathers and men to be a part of a movement that spearheads positive involvement in the lives of children.

As part of the campaign, the Heartlines has also launched a WhatsApp interactive coach designed to help dads navigate the challenges of parenting.
