Shakira January Named Captain Of South African Women's Water Polo

Talented water polo athlete, Shakira January, has been named captain of the South African women's water polo team for the 22nd World Aquatics Championships in Singapore.
January, who is also pursuing a degree in Psychology is excited to represent the country and says she will give her all to make her team proud.
The championships are currently underway, running from July-11 to August 3.

Zimbabwe Qualifies For Rugby World Cup

Zimbabwe has qualified for the Rugby World Cup for the first time since 1991 after upsetting Namibia 30-28 in the Africa Cup final on Saturday.
Zimbabwe is the second side from Africa after world champion South Africa to secure a spot in the expanded 24-team World Cup in Australia in 2027.
The Sables are also only the third side from Africa to reach the World Cup in the professional era.
They face the United Arab Emirates in a playoff ahead of final qualifiers in Dubai in November.
