Over 850,000 Meals Packaged on Mandela Day

Rise Against Hunger Africa and its partners have exceeded their Mandela Day goal packaging over 850-thousand meals at the Sandton Convention Centre.
The initial target was to package 600-thousand meals.
The meals will feed more than 3-thousand vulnerable children across South Africa for a year.
While Mandela Day sees a large collective effort, Rise Against Hunger Africa operates year-round supplying monthly food deliveries to over 720 ECD centres nationwide.
