Story 1
The Astro Kids and Adult Organisation (AKAO) organised a back-to-school drive for learners at Wisani Primary School in Pimville, providing stationery and covered books.
Donor Ndalamo Ramovha helped make the drive possible, ensuring learners had the supplies they needed to start the academic year.
Deputy principal Hlamalani Macevele said the support was important for children from disadvantaged backgrounds and would encourage them to engage fully in their studies.
AKAO founder Simangele Nxumalo said the drive aimed to prevent learners from starting the year feeling left out due to a lack of resources.
