International artist and vocalist Keisha White has been added to the line-up of the Tribute to Women concert taking place at Mark’s Park in Emmarentia on August 24.

Dotsure celebrates women’s empowerment through Wild Mongoo

Insurance company dotsure.co.za is celebrating women in George who are rebuilding their lives through the non-profit Wild Mongoo.
The project teaches vulnerable women skills such as sewing, embroidery, beading and leatherwork, helping them create items from pet beds and earrings to coasters and mugs
Each product represents more than craftsmanship, carrying the possibility of income, independence and dignity.
For many of the women, Wild Mongoo has become a second chance at life, offering hope, belonging and a way to provide for their families.

The University received Founder Associate Status from the Work Wellness Association of South Africa.
The status, granted at no cost during WWASA’s launch phase, acknowledges institutions committed to employee care.
Benefits include strategic support, a wellness roadmap, and opportunities to shape national benchmarks.
TUT’s Health and Wellness Manager, Dr Priscilla Lekgetho, says the recognition will strengthen wellness systems, ease workload pressures, and make the University an even more caring employer.
