The Roodepoort Theatre marks a major milestone this year, commemorating 45 years of enriching the cultural landscape of South Africa.

Established in 1980, the Theatre's current status as a flagship of Joburg City Theatres, has consistently pushed the boundaries of artistic expression.
The facility has evolved into a vibrant home for diverse productions and community engagement.

Mandela University’s Nursing Science administrative assistant, Lumka Cube, has been awarded the 2025 Fabulous Woman Humanitarian Award by the Fabulous Girls Foundation.

Cube has been recognised for her work as the founder and managing director of the Grab and Go Foundation, a non-profit organization based in the Eastern Cape that aims to address urgent community needs by providing essentials, such as food, hygiene products, clothing and other necessities, to underprivileged communities.

The 4th Annual Tourism Leadership Conference was held at the Sun City Resort, in the Northwest province focusing on themes of growth, people and policy in South Africa's tourism sector.

The conference featured discussions on infrastructure investment, digital transformation, financing for SMMEs and the convergence of public and private sector strategies for the industry's advancement.

The event aims to foster practical dialogue between public and private sector leaders to translate insights and strategies into concrete actions for tourism growth.
