The City of Johannesburg is gearing up to host one of the biggest events on the global calendar.
Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshavheni says the G20 leaders’ summit is Africa’s best chance to showcase its ability to host a gathering of the world’s biggest economies.

The Minister gave an update on preparations for the November summit on Thursday and says South Africa’s approach is to host the G20 Summit not just for the country, but in a way that represents the entire African continent.

Funda Wande partners with Limpopo DOE to improve Education outcomes

The non-profit organization Funda Wande in partnership with the Limpopo Department of education has announced major improvements in reading and Maths among young learners across 30 schools in the province.

The results which were released in Polokwane indicate that foundation phase learners between grades R to 3 are gaining key skills in literacy and numeracy, marking an important step in addressing South Africa's education crisis.

The study shows that learns showed significant improvement in letter, sound, word reading
and comprehension.
