Joburg libraries host school reading competitions

The event features two popular contests: the Story Skirmish for Grades 4-5 and the Battle of the Books for Grades 6-7.
Teams from top schools, including Elsie Ngidi Primary, Malvern Primary, Mikateka Primary, and others, will compete to showcase their knowledge and speed in reading.
The competitions aim to build confidence, comprehension, and a lifelong love for reading among young participants.
