The Oxford University Press South Africa has developed a new Foundation Phase textbook series in response to the Department of Basic Education’s call for inclusive learning materials that promote social cohesion.
The new series brings authentic representation into the classroom and has been thoughtfully designed to reflect diversity and inclusion in a meaningful way.
The newly released Foundation Phase series introduces learners to a vibrant cast of characters who reflect the identities that are shaped by South Africa’s diverse cultural, linguistic and socio-economic realities.

South Africa sees surge in international tourists

South Africa has seen an increase in the number of international tourists.
The Tourism Department recorded a 30 percent year on year increase in tourist arrivals in August this year, with over 6-million tourists visiting the country since the beginning of the year.
The majority of the tourists are from Europe, Central and South America and the Middle East.
