Government plans to invest R2.2 trillion, which is about 30% of the nation’s gross domestic product, in a detailed energy transformation strategy.
Ramokgopa says the Integrated Resource Plan aims to address electricity supply issues, promote economic growth, and create jobs, targeting a three-percent gross domestic product growth by 2030:
