St Stithians Girls’ Prep recently hosted the Beyond the Mirror film festival. Grade 7 students showcased their own personal documentary films exploring self-identity. Through a cross-curricular project, the students examined how their experiences, environment, and heritage shape who they are, expressing their discoveries through poetry, podcasts and art. The event provided a red-carpet experience for parents and guests, celebrating creativity, confidence, and storytelling.

Hundreds of local and international farmers gathered at the biggest agricultural exhibition in Africa. Farmers, agricultural professionals and enthusiasts gathered in Bothaville in the past week, for the 2025 Nampo Harvest Day.With nearly 6 decades of rich history, the gathering has become a source of inspiration to emerging farmers and features extensive exhibition spaces and field demonstration areas. The three day event attracted over 24 thousand visitors, further cementing its status as the premier agricultural trade show in the Southern Hemisphere. SA wins Strongest Man Title

Rayno Nel has made history by winning the 2025 World’s Strongest Man competition in Sacramento, California. The South African strongman is the first African to ever claim the title. Nel lifted a massive 240 kg Flintstone Barbell and conquered the legendary Atlas Stones challenge. He edged out defending champion Tom Stoltman by just half a point in a nail-biting finish, sending celebrations across South Africa as the trophy heads to the continent for the first time in 48 years.
