According to the city, this is part of its billing optimisation project to enhance revenue collection and improve customers’ bills by ensuring that customers receive accurate meter readings for their water and electricity consumption.Authorised meter readers will, at all times, carry ID cards with their full names, ID number, and their photos. Officials will also be in branded vehicles.
