The report highlights key issues such as poor academic performance, mental health struggles, and pressure to hide emotions.The programme has shown success in changing harmful attitudes, including beliefs that support gender-based violence. With South Africa’s high levels of violence against women, the report calls for early education and support for boys to help build a safer, more equal society.

Zakes Bantwini Gradates From Harvard

Grammy award-winning South African musician Zakes Bantwini has completed an educational program at Harvard Business School. Bantwini celebrated his achievement of completing The Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports course at the top business school.The “Osama” hitmaker reflected how completing the milestone was a bucket list item, ticked off his list. The course is given by Harvard University Professor Anita Elberse and has drawn in big names such as ex-Daily Show comedian Roy Wood Junior and FIFA World Cup winner Juan Mata. The four-day program is also known to have celebrity guest speakers. Last year, renowned South African DJ and musician Black Coffee gave a lecture at the Harvard Business School.

Bruce Springsteen's New Biopic

Bruce Springsteen fans have been given their first glimpse of Jeremy Allen White's portrayal of The Boss, in the trailer for new biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere. The film follows Springsteen as he records his sixth album, testing the patience of a record label who want a follow-up to his 1980 pop hit Hungry Heart. White, who has won three Emmys for his lead performance in The Bear, is seen playing a harmonica and singing Nebraska's title track, as well as Springsteen's breakthrough hit Born To Run. The film comes after another legendary US singer-songwriter Timothee Chalamay received an Oscar nomination for playing Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown. SOUND
