The 12th edition of the Big 5 Construct South Africa event has returned to the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg.
Visitors will have the opportunity to network with a diverse line-up of exhibitors from over 20 countries, including the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Greece.

Vodacom invests R100 Million to expand KZN's rural network

Leading African telecommunications company Vodacom, says it will invest approximately R100 million to build 106 new base station sites in remote areas in KwaZulu-Natal, in order to give access to hundreds of thousands of people who have been excluded from the digital age.
The new sites will be rolled out across 11 district municipalities, including Amajuba, eThekwini, and Ilembe among many other regions.
This forms part of Vodacom’s Rural Coverage Acceleration Programme, which is aimed at expanding network coverage in remote areas in the country.

Jonathan Anderson named Dior's new creative director

French fashion house Dior has named Northern Irish designer Jonathan Anderson as the first-ever creative director for both its women's and men's collections.
Anderson was appointed following the departure of Italian Maria Grazia last week, who had presided over the brand's women's collections for the last nine years.
Anderson had already been named as artistic director of the men's collection in April and will now become the first person to run both collections at the fashion house.
