Walking For Youth Jobs In Jozi

Joint Prosperity is turning every kilometre walked at the Jozi My Jozi Walk into support for youth employment opportunities.
The partnership with the Amy Foundation will raise funds for skills training, mentorship and job placement for young South Africans facing unemployment.
The campaign aims to raise R60 000 to support at least five young people through training and entrepreneurship programmes.
The initiative builds pathways for young people to gain skills, find work and start businesses.

Arts Aweh Opens Creative Doors Youth

The Arts Aweh! programme has provided free arts activities to thousands of young people from January to June.
Learners took part in drawing, painting, photography, dance, poetry and other creative workshops at seven community spaces.
The programme also supported 19-young creatives through work opportunities and hosted exhibitions where participants displayed their artwork and performances.
A new intake is planned to give more learners access to arts and cultural activities.

The awards celebrate individuals and organisations whose work has made a meaningful impact on the country's cultural landscape.
