Expanded Public Works Programme Transforms Rabie Ridge
Story 1
Community leader George Henry says the Expanded Public Works Programme has brought visible improvements to Rabie Ridge.
Streets and public spaces that were once littered are now clean and accessible, open areas have been cleared, and residents report a renewed sense of pride and safety. Several tonnes of waste have been removed, illegal dumping has decreased, and temporary jobs created by the programme have provided relief to households.
Henry says ongoing monitoring, awareness campaigns, and community engagement are helping maintain the improvements and encourage responsible waste management.
