Buttercup Preschool has launched a weekly duck hunt for families in Lonehill, Johannesburg.
Every Sunday until the end of August, a yellow rubber duck will be hidden at a different public location, starting at Lonehill Park.
Families can follow weekly clues to find the duck and return it to the preschool for a prize.
The activity encourages children and parents to explore their neighbourhood and spend time outdoors together.

Somali Students Receive Chinese Scholarships

More than 150 Somali students have received full Chinese government scholarships to study medicine, engineering and other specialised fields at universities across China.
The programme will train students in skills that can support Somalia’s development in areas such as healthcare, engineering and technology.
For many of the recipients the scholarship offers an opportunity to gain advanced skills and knowledge to that they can bring back to contribute to Somalia's development.
