Joburg wins engineering awards for three infrastructure projects

The City of Johannesburg has received engineering awards for three infrastructure projects recognised by the Institute of Municipal Engineering of Southern Africa.
The awarded projects include the Eastern Stormwater Channel upgrade in Orange Grove, the Vlakfontein Transport Facility, and the Naledi Clinic, all delivered by the Johannesburg Development Agency.
The projects were recognised for flood management, community development and healthcare infrastructure improvements.
The City says the awards reflect work completed under its infrastructure programme to improve service delivery across Johannesburg.
