Aspiring young golfers in the City of Johannesburg took part in a coaching clinic hosted by the Joburg Ladies Open on Wednesday, 15 April 2026.
Professional golfers led hands-on sessions where children practised techniques and learned skills on the course.
Young golfers from areas including Alexandra and Soweto attended through development programmes and were exposed to professional tournament conditions.
The Joburg Ladies Open teed off on Thursday and ran until yesterday.

The 67 Blankets for Mandela Day initiative held a public exhibition at Steyn City on Saturday, showcasing handmade blankets created by community knitting groups supporting people in need.
To mark World Creativity and Innovation Day, the movement brought volunteers together to knit and crochet blankets for vulnerable communities.
The United Nations has designated 21 April as World Creativity and Innovation Day to highlight the role of creativity in human development.
Founder Carolyn Steyn says the goal is to bring people together while making a meaningful impact on vulnerable South Africans.

House of Love and Hope in Hillcrest, Durban, is asking local shop owners to host donation boxes to collect essential items for children in its care.
The organisation, which supports abandoned babies and children with special needs, says the boxes will allow customers to donate items such as nappies, baby formula and wipes while shopping.
The initiative aims to increase access to basic supplies by placing donation points in local stores and encouraging community contributions.
Shop owners are being encouraged to partner with HOLAH to expand the collection network across the area.
