The Phase 1C(a) in Alexandra will be launched next week, as part of this year's Joburg Transport Month.
The new route will connect the inner city to several key suburbs, including Hillbrow, Yeoville, Orange Grove, Bramley, Wynberg, Alexandra, and Sandton.
This expansion aims to ease congestion in some of the city's busiest areas while providing residents with safe, affordable, and reliable transportation.

To celebrate this milestone, the council will host its 9th Biennial Conference from 8-10 of this month, at the CSIR International Convention Centre in Pretoria.
The theme of the conference is: “Science, Technology, and Innovation for a Sustainable Future.”
CSIR CEO Dr. Thulani Dlamini believes that the gathering will serve as a dynamic platform to showcase the research foundation's excellence in science, technology, and innovation, spanning more than 12 key sectors of the South African economy.
