Rabada Sets Fastest 350-Wicket Record

South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada has become the fastest bowler to reach 350 Test wickets in terms of deliveries bowled.
He reached the milestone in 13-thousand-808 deliveries, breaking the previous record held by fellow South African Dale Steyn, who took 14-thousand-719 deliveries.
Rabada claimed his 350th wicket by dismissing Australia's Travis Head on the final morning of the third Test at Newlands in Cape Town on Saturday.
South Africa went on to win the match by 176 runs, taking the series 2-1.

Rooibos Seeds Headed to Space Experiment

More than 17-thousand Rooibos seeds are being prepared for a South African experiment that will send them to the International Space Station.
The seeds will spend between four and six weeks in space, where they will be exposed to conditions such as low gravity and space radiation.
When they return to Earth, learners from schools in the Cederberg and Parklands College, in the Western Cape, will plant them and compare their growth with seeds that stayed on Earth.
The project, led by the South African Rooibos Council and MaxIQ Space, aims to study how the plant responds to space conditions while giving learners practical experience in science.
The mission is expected to launch between December 2026 and January 2027.
