River Park Clinic Promotes Healthy Living in Alexandra

Saps Raises R16 Million For Children Of Fallen Officers

The South African Police Service has raised more than R16 million to support the education of children whose parents died in the line of duty.
The funds were secured during the annual National Golf Day in aid of the South African Police Service Education Trust, established in 2010.
To date, the trust has raised over R21 million, assisting more than 1 900 children with school and tertiary education support. More than 170 beneficiaries have obtained their National Senior Certificates, while over 50 have completed tertiary qualifications.
SAPS says the majority of supported families lost their sole breadwinner, with the initiative aimed at ensuring continued access to education

Joburg film festival returns with 60 curated films

The annual Joburg Film Festival will run from March 3rd to the 8th this year.
Organisers say the programme will feature a selection of films blending African storytelling with global cinema.
The festival includes 60 curated films, made up of 40 fiction features and 18 non-fiction features.
An additional 65 short films will also be screened, including nine creative student productions.
