A veterinarian at Cluny Animal Trust in Fouriesburg will once again take part in a winter plunge to raise funds for animals in need of care.
Dr Elsa, who works with sick and vulnerable animals at the organisation, will brave the icy waters of Arpa Dam as part of the annual Polar Bear Plunge. This year, she aims to raise funds towards building a dedicated isolation ward to safely treat animals recovering from contagious illnesses.
The initiative continues to bring together supporters each winter, combining fundraising with awareness for animal welfare.
