Limpopo Tourism has launched a winter campaign to promote its warm weather and travel experiences. The goal is to position Limpopo as a top travel destination in Southern Africa, boost awareness of the brand, and build partnerships with local tourism businesses. Visitors, including those from as far as the Western Cape, can enjoy the natural beauty of places like Mopani Camp in the Kruger National Park while escaping colder climates. British actor and comedian Ricky Gervais has been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Gervais said he was "humbled" and that his success was a mix of "luck, persistence, and a little bit of pushing against the tide". Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said she always knew they needed a comedian's touch on the famed sidewalk. Gervais is well known for creating and starring in the BBC Two comedy The Office and, more recently, the comedy drama After Life on Netflix.
